Henry Golding continues to solidify the fact he has a very bright future ahead. Golding, whose playing the lead opposite Constance Wu in Warner Bros.’ Crazy Rich Asians and will then be seen in Paul Feig’s female-driven thriller A Simple Favor opposite Blake Lively, lands another role today.
The actors’ next project will be playing the lead in MONSOON, from writer/ director Hong Khaou (Lilting). The drama will have Golding playing Kit, a British Vietnamese man who travels from London to his birth country of Vietnam to scatter his parents’ ashes.
Golding went to Twitter today to announce his latest venture.

Tracy O’Riordan is producing the project, which is financed by BFI and BBC. Lizzie Francke and Rose Garnett are executive producing.
Golding is currently based in Signapore after growing up in London. He will make his feature film debut as the lead in Warner Bros.’ Crazy Rich Asians, based on Kevin Kwan’s popular book. Before this, he was previously known for hosting TV Travel Shows. He is represented by Paradigm.
