Simmons in Whiplash
J.K. Simmons is in the jazz business again with Damien Chazelle’s new musical, La La Land, about a romance between a jazz pianist, played by Ryan Gosling, and an aspiring actress, played by Emma Stone. This would reunite Chazelle, Simmons and composer Justin Hurwitz from Whiplash, and would also put Stone and Gosling back together as love interests for the first time since Crazy, Stupid, Love.
Sebastian (Gosling) falls for budding actress Mia (Stone) in this modern take on a Hollywood musical, who put their love to the test as they face pressures from show-biz success.
