Daniel Craig and Katherine Heigl are in final negotiations to join Steven Soderbergh’s LOGAN LUCKY. Once the deals are finalized, they will join Adam Driver and Seth Macfarlane in the heist film that follows two brothers who attempt a crime during a NASCAR race.
Frequent Soderbergh collaborators Channing Tatum and Riley Keough are also attached to star. Mark Johnson Gregory Jacobs and Reid Carolin are set to produce.
Craig has recently been making headlines for whether or not he will return as James Bond for the follow-up to Spectre. In the meantime, Craig is set to star in Todd Field’s limited TV series Purity which centers on a young female activist who travels across the world to find her father. He is repped by CAA and Independent Talent Group.
Heigl can be seen in the upcoming CBS series Doubt with Laverne Cox. She will also lend her voice to the animated feature The Nut Job 2 and is filming the thriller Unforgettable which stars Rosario Dawson. She is repped by WME and Silver Lining Entertainment.
