Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Thomas Anderson may be reuniting for a 1950s-set drama based in the fashion world.
Megan Ellison from Annapurna Pictures is set to produce the yet-to-be-titled project. No details about the project have been revealed and no deals have been set, but the film will be the first time the Academy Award winning actor and the director since 2007’s There Will Be Blood.
Anderson’s most recent films include Inherent Vice and The Master, both of which were produced by Annapurna. He is repped by CAA.
In addition to winning an Academy Award for his role in There Will Be Blood, Day-Lewis won an Oscar in 2012 for his portrayal of Abraham Lincoln in the Steven Spielberg-directed Lincoln. He is repped by Julian Belfrage Associates.
