Daniel Radcliffe is in final negotiations to star in the BBC Films biopic GRAND THEFT AUTO. The story will follow the lives of the creators of Rockstar Games, the company responsible for many successful video game franchises, including the Grand Theft Auto series. Radcliffe will play Sam Houser, the co-founder and president of the company. The movie will center in on the real life conflict between Houser and disbarred Miami lawyer Jack Thompson, who fought to have the game banned in the early 2000’s.
Known for his role in the Harry Potter series, Radcliffe has recently starred in the thriller Horns, and will be seen as the character Igor in the upcoming horror film Victor Frankenstein.
