Danny Glover And John C. McGinley Join Romantic Comedy “The Good Catholic”

Danny Glover and have joined THE GOOD CATHOLIC, a new romantic comedy from Paul Schoulberg. They will star opposite Wrenn Schmidt and .

The film follows an idealistic young priest (Spicer) who loves his more than anything, until he meets a woman (Schmidt) in confession and seeks guidance from his fellow priests.

Glover and McGinley will play Spicer’s clergy coworkers with Glover taking on a more conservative, traditional priest against McGinley’s more free-spirited father.

Schoulberg wrote the script and will helm. Star Spicer will produce alongside and of . will executive produce.

Glover can currently be seen in theaters opposite Robert De Niro and Zac Efron in Dirty Grandpa, and will next be seen in the Sundance drama Mr. Pig.
