THE GREEN INFERNO, Eli Roth’s first directing effort since 2007’s “Hostel II” has begun its casting process, entering negotiations with seven thesps.
Daryl Sabara, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, Aaron Burns, Magda Apanowicz and Sky Ferreria are in talks to star in the horror thriller, which follows a group of New York students who travel to the Peruvian jungle to stage a protest but are instead captured by a cannibalistic tribe. Each actor’s exact role in the film is unclear but Izzo and Levy starred in “Aftershock” this year’s earthquake-based horror thriller which Roth co-wrote with Guillermo Amoedo, produced and toplined. He will produce “Inferno” with Christopher Woodrow, Molly Conners, Miguel Asensio Llamas and Nicolas Lopez. Amoedo also co-wrote the “Inferno” script.
