Dave Bautista has been reportedly cast in the UNTITLED JAMES BOND 24 PROJECT. Serving as the sequel to 2012’s “Skyfall,” the plot of the newest entry in the Bond series is currently under wraps. Bautista is rumored to play Hinx, a villainous henchman in the vein of classic characters such as Jaws and Oddjob. Bautista will join series star Daniel Craig as well as newcomers Naomie Harris and Penelope Cruz. Ben Whishaw and Ralph Fiennes will also reprise their respective roles. Chiwetel Ejiofor and Lea Seydoux are rumored to star. The film is helmed by returning director Sam Mendes.
Bautista, a wrestler-turned-actor, got his start in the WWE and WWF. Bautista slowly made his way onto the acting scene with small roles on television series such as “Smallville” and “Chuck.” In film, he starred in “The Man With The Iron Fists,” “House of the Rising Sun” in a leading role, and alongside Vin Diesel in “Riddick.” However, Bautista made a memorable impression for his impressive comedic chops in his scene-stealing turn as Drax the Destroyer in Marvel’s smash hit “Guardians of The Galaxy.” Hot of this starring role, Bautista is next set to appear in “Bus 657” alongside Robert De Niro and the action remake “Kickboxer.” Bautista will also return for the highly anticipated “Guardians of The Galaxy” sequel.
