Dave Chappelle is returning to sketch comedy this November, making his SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE hosting debut. The veteran stand-up is set to host the show’s first post-election episode on November 12
Chappelle will be joined by musical guest A Tribe Called Quest whose album We got it from Here…Thank You 4 Your service on Nov. 11. Benedict Cumberbatch is slated to make his SNL hosting debut the week before with musical guest Solange.
A stand-up comedian, Chappelle is most known for his sketch comedy series Chappelle’s Show, which ran on Comedy Central until 2006. In addition to his stand-up comedy, Chappelle appeared in Spike Lee’s 2015 film Chi-Raq and wrote material for the 88th Academy Awards hosted by Chris Rock.
