Everything is awesome for Warner Bros. as they have tapped an all-star voice cast for THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE. Dave Franco, Olivia Munn, and Jackie Chan have signed on to lend their voice to the animated feature and they are joined by Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Pena, Abbi Jacobson, and Zach Woods.
The movie will center on the battle of Ninjago City and follows young Lloyd, aka the Green Ninja, along with his friends, who are all secret warriors and Lego Master Builders. Led by kung fu master Wu, as wise-cracking as he is wise, they must defeat evil warlord Garmadon, the worst guy ever, who also happens to be Lloyd’s dad.
Franco is set to voice Lloyd while Chan will play Wu with Theroux voicing Garmadon. Lloyd’s fellow ninjas will be voiced by Armisen, Jacobson, Nanjiani, Pena, and Woods. Munn rounds out the cast as the voice of Lloyd’s mother.
Charlie Bean will direct with Dan Lin, Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Roy Lee, and Maryann Garger set to produce. Chris McKay, Seth Grahame-Smith, Jill Wilfert and Keith Malone will serve as executive producers.
