David Dobkin is in talks to helm Hugh Hefner biopic, which was previously titled PLAYBOY. The project will chronicle Hefner’s life, focusing on his creation of Playboy and becoming known as ‘the godfather of the Love Revolution.’
Peter Morgan penned the most recent draft, that Scott Silver, John Hoffman and Oliver Stone have all worked previously on. Jerry Weintraub and Jill Arthur will produce.
Dobkin last directed “The Change-Up” and is in the middle of post-production on his dramedy “The Judge.”
