Batman Begins screenwriter David S. Goyer has been tapped to direct the remake of 2014 German thriller WHO AM I. The original was helmed by Baran bo Odar and screened at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival in the Contemporary World Cinema section.
The story centers on a computer hacker group in Berlin that gears towards global fame. Dan Wiedenhaupt is writing the script.
Goyer is best known for his work on Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. More recently he was a writer and executive producer on Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice and executive producer on Birth Of A Nation. He previously directed The Unborn and The Invisible.
