“Harry Potter” director David Yates is in talks to helm Warner Bros.’ Al Capone pic, CICERO. Written by Walon Green (The Wild Bunch), the story follows the rise of Capone to the head of the Chicago criminal underworld, and the events in 1924 leading up to his government takeover of Cicero, Illinois.
John Lesher will produce via his Le Grisbi Productions, with Adam Kassan and Leonard Ackerman serving as exec producers.
Yates is repped by CAA.
