So far, all of the teasers and trailers for Disney-Pixars THE INCREDIBLES 2 have been spot-on in terms of building anticipation for the animated superhero sequel.
The latest official trailer for the June 15 release pulls it all together in terms of the story, as well as shares a few more laughs from the movie, including more with Samuel L. Jackson’s Frozone.
Elastigirl now has a full-time job, leaving her husband Mr. Incredible to watch the kids including baby Jack-Jack, who seems to be manifesting all sorts of superpowers in very destructive ways.
Brad Bird once again writes and directs the sequel with returning voices Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell and Huck Milner and new characters voiced by Catherine Keener, Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks, the latter two from Better Call Saul. The movie is produced by John Walker and Nicole Grindle.
The official synopsis is:
In “Incredibles 2,” Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.
Incredibles 2 will open on June 15, and it’s probably going to be one of the biggest movies of the summer.
