Doctor Strange star has joined the cast of Ang Lee’s innovative action-thriller , it was announced Tuesday.

Will Smith is set to star as Henry Brogan, an elite assassin who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative who can seemingly predict his every move. The twist? Will Smith is playing the young operative, too!

Clive Owen will co-star as the villain, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play the female lead.

Jerry Bruckheimer and David Ellison are producing the film, which Paramount will release on Oct. 4, 2019. Production is currently under way in Georgia, where Smith is not happy about the bug situation despite the big smile on his face, as seen below.

It seems like you can’t make an elevated sci-fi movie these days without casting Wong, whose feature credits include Annihilation, Prometheus, The Martian, Moon and Sunshine, not to mention Doctor Strange. And hey, speaking of Marvel movies, Wong will soon be seen alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in Avengers: Infinity War. He’s represented by and attorney Robert S. Wallerstein.
