Domhnall Gleeson is in talks to join the cast of THE REVENANT with Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, and Will Poulter. The action drama centers on Hugh Glass, a 36-year-old fur trapper, who he joins the Rocky Mountain Fur Company on a dangerous expedition. After being mauled by a grizzly bear, robbed, and left for dead, Glass vows to survive — and miraculously does, making his way through 350 miles of uncharted wilderness to exact revenge. DiCaprio has bravely signed on to star as the bear mauling victim.
Gleeson got his breakout role playing Bill Weasley in the “Harry Potter” film franchise and hasn’t stopped since, appearing in “True Grit,” “Anna Karenina,” and “Frank.” Gleeson had a starring role in time-shifting rom-com “About Time” before his most recent project, “Calvary” opposite his father and “Harry Potter” co-star Brendan Gleeson. Next up, Gleeson is set to co-star in “Star Wars: Episode VII” in an unknown role.
