Dominic Cooper is in talks to star alongside Aaron Paul in the film adaptation of the video game series NEED FOR SPEED.
The film follows an underground race car driver (Paul) who goes to prison after being framed for his best friend’s murder during a race. Upon his release, he seeks out his revenge. If he joins the film, Cooper would play Dino, an ex-NASCAR driver who builds a business modifying cars into racing machines. Imogen Poots is also in talks to star as an exotic car dealer in business with Paul and Cooper.

After most recently starring in the biopic drama “My Week With Marilyn” and period actioner “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”, Cooper will next be seen in the thriller “Dead Man Down” and war adaptation “Half of a Yellow Sun”. He is repped by CAA and Markham, Froggatt & Irwin.
