Nick Weiss has inked an overall deal with ABC Studios. The two year deal will see the up and coming filmmaker creating new content for the company, while allowing him to step in to write and direct for already existing properties. Weiss has written and directed the upcoming indie comedy Drunk Wedding. Paramount Insurge is set to release the film later this month. Last year, ABC Studios commissioned a pilot that Weiss filmed titled Family Reunion. This kicked off the relationship between Weiss and the studio.
