Dustin Hoffman is in talks to join Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine in GOING IN STYLE. It was recently announced that Zach Braff is in talks to helm the crime dramedy, which centers on a group of retired, bored, senior citizens who decide to rob a bank. The New Line project is a remake of the 1979 film starring George Burns, Art Carney, and Lee Strasberg.
Hoffman has been laying low lately, appearing in indies like Chef and lending his voice to Kung Fu Panda 2. He recently directed the dramedy Quartet and stars alongside Adam Sandler in The Cobbler. Next up, Hoffman is set to appear in Stephen Frears’ sports biopic Icon, which stars Lee Pace as a journalist who works to expose Lance Armstrong’s drug enhancement.
Hoffman is repped by WME.
