Will Gluck has signed on to direct the UNTITLED DISNEY LOTTERY PROJECT. The film was formerly titled The Lucky Man and The Lottery. The film follows a woman that has to deal with the consequences when her entire town pools to win the lottery and wins 950 million – and she is the only one who didn’t buy a ticket. The screenplay was written by Martin Hynes. Steve Carrell was originally attached to star, but now Gluck has been brought in to rework the project for a female lead. The studio announced the film last March.
Known for directing the Emma Stone comedy Easy A, Gluck has directed the films Friends With Benefits and the Annie remake. He is set to re-team with Stone on an upcoming, currently untitled project.
