Ed Harris and Amber Heard have been added to the cast of THE ADDERALL DIARIES. Based on the Stephen Elliot memoir, the drama follows a young author with writer’s block who becomes fascinated by a man who confesses to eight unrelated murders while standing trial for a completely unrelated murder. Harris and Heard join James Franco, Christian Slater, Cynthia Nixon and Jim Parrack.
Harris is best known as Gene Kranz or “Houston” in “Apollo 13,” a role he stepped back into for Alfonso Cuarón “Gravity,” voicing the role of mission control. He has also appeared in “A Beautiful Mind,” “The Truman Show” and “Gone Baby Gone.” He will next appear in the high speed thriller “Snowpiercer,” action/drama “Run All Night” with Liam Neeson and drama “Patriotic Treason” where he’ll play abolitionist John Brown who tries to recruit Frederick Douglass to help him organize a raid on Harper’s Ferry in 1859 in order to seize weapons for slaves in America.
Heard has appeared in “Zombieland,” comedy “Pineapple Express” and, most recently, McG’s action/drama “3 Days to Kill” with Kevin Costner. Her next projects include drama “When I Live My Life Over Again” opposite Christopher Walken and thriller “London Fields” which will star Heard as a clairvoyant femme fatale who has been living with a dark premonition of her impending death by murder.
Harris is repped by CAA. Heard is with WME and Media Talent Group.

The more I hear about this movie the more I want to see it. I really liked Christian Slaters 80’s movies and expect great things from him in this movie too. It has a great cast and this story was well known so I am predicting it to be a big hit. The plot line sounds like a winner..
