Ed Helms Set To Star In The Lake Bell Comedy “What’s The Point?”

has been tapped to star in the -directed WHAT’S THE POINT? (AND OTHER FAIR QUESTIONS ABOUT MARRIAGE). Bell, who also wrote the script, will star alongside the former staff member of The Office in the ensemble comedy about how marriage should be a seven-year contract with an option to renew.

Bell will also produce the film under her More Films banner with of Ways & Means along with Miranda Bailey and of and Jason Beck and of The Arcade.

The comedy is Bell’s directorial follow up to 2013’s In A World… which earned her the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award as well as a Independent Spirit Award nod for Best First Screenplay. She was seen last year in Man Up as well as the thriller No Escape opposite Owen Wilson. She also appears in the comedy Children’s Hospital. Helms is known for his role in The Hangover franchise, but has also appeared in several films including last year’s Vacation reboot and the holiday movie Love the Coopers.
