Eddie Redmayne has signed on to lend his voice to Aardman and Studio Canal’s stop-motion animated feature EARLY MAN. The film will be directed by Nick Park who is known for his work with Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit and Chicken Run.
Written by Mark Burton and John O’Farrell, the story is set during the time when dinosaurs and mammoths roamed the earth. The movie centers on a caveman who unites with his tribe to fight a powerful enemy and at the same time, he just happens to invent football. The title will be presented at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
Redmayne earned an Oscar nomination for his role in Tom Hooper’s The Danish Girl. He can be seen next in the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them with Colin Farrell and Katherine Waterston.
He is repped by CAA and United Agents.
