Eli Roth Tapped To Direct “Death Wish” Remake Starring Bruce Willis

The 1974 original with Bronson was directed by Michael Winner and based on a novel by Brian Garfield. It followed a New York architect who, after seeing his wife get murdered, becomes a vigilante that kills criminals in the mean streets at night. The movie started a cult franchise with the last movie, Death Wish V: The Face of Death released in 1994.
