Story centers on a man who missed puberty growing up, and undergoes hormone therapy to get back on track — with the unfortunate effects of experiencing every stage of puberty in just 3 weeks. The film is based on the memoir “Man Made: A Memoir of My Body” by Ken Baker. Wood is set to play the lead role.
Producing will be Jesse Israel, Brent Emery, Heidi Jo Markel, Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove.
Wood is best known for his role of Frodo Baggins in the “Lord of the Rings” Trilogy. He’s currently starring the FX absurd-comedy “Wilfred”, a remake of australian show of the same name. Up next for him is the recently wrapped “Maniac” and “Pawn Shop Chronicles”.
He is repped by WME.
