Eliza Dushku, Bradley Whitford and Joel David Moore have all joined the cast of MIDNIGHT RIDER: THE GREGG ALLMAN STORY.
The film chronicles the life of Gregg Allman, one of the founders of the hit rock group “The Allman Brothers Band.” Dushku will play a southern girl who inspires Gregg Allman’s song “Whipping Post.” Whitford will play Allman’s current manager, while Moore will play his first manager, who discovered Gregg and his bandmates.
Randall Miller and Jody Savin wrote the script and will produce, with Miller also directing.
Dushku starred in “Wrong Turn”, “Ugly Betty” and “White Collar” and is repped by UTA.
Whitford was in “Cabin in the Woods” and can currently be seen in “Saving Mr. Banks.” He is repped by WME and will next appear in “Decoding Annie Parker.”
Moore appeared alongside Whitford in “CBGB” and was also in “Savages.” He will next star in “The Guest.” He is repped by ICM.
