Elizabeth Banks has joined the cast of two movies.
The first is LITTLE ACCIDENTS opposite Boyd Holbrook, which follows three residents of a small mining town whose lives interweave as they cope with a mining accident that killed twelve men. She will play a woman whose life spirals downward after she finds her son missing.
The second project, LOVE & MERCY, stars John Cusack, Paul Dano and Paul Giamatti. The story centers on famed Beach Boys band member Brian Wilson, and the special relationship he has with his therapist, Dr. Eugene Landy — the man responsible for reviving Wilson’s career in the 70″²s, and destroying it in the 80″²s. She’ll play Melinda, a former model who later becomes his wife.
Banks was last seen in “Pitch Perfect” and will next appear in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” and “The Lego Movie.”
She is repped by UTA.
