Elizabeth Debicki is circling a role in J.J. Abrams’s long-gestating GOD PARTICLE. The cast of the Paramount sci-fi flick currently includes David Oyelowo and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. John Krasinski is also in talks to join.
Julius Onah will direct with Abrams producing under Bad Robot. The film is slated for a release date of Feb. 24, 2017.
The story follows a team of astronauts who make a terrifying discovery that not only shifts their view of reality but has them fighting for their lives. Debicki would play one of the astronauts.
Debicki can currently be seen in the AMC miniseries The Night Manager opposite Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie. Most recently, she was seen in Macbeth and Everest. She also starred in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby starring Leonardo DiCaprio. She is currently filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
