Love May Fail follows a woman who is recovering from a depressing ending to her marriage to an adulterous husband. After she discovers that her favorite English teacher has lost his job following a scandal, she then returns to her hometown determined to clear his name.
Stone’s past three films were the Oscar-winning Birdman, Woody Allen’s Irrational Man, and Cameron Crowe’s Aloha.
She recently wrapped on Whiplash director Damien Chazelle’s musical La La Land, which co-stars Ryan Gosling and J.K. Simmons. She’s next prepping to shoot The Lobster helmer Yorgos Lanthimos’s next drama, The Favourite.
