Eric Bana has been tapped to star in Guy Ritchie’s KNIGHTS OF THE ROUNDTABLE: KING ARTHUR. Bana will play Uther, the father of the legendary King Arthur, who is being played by Charlie Hunnam. Astrid Berges-Frisbey has been cast as Guinevere and Jude Law is in talks to take the role of the villain. Ritchie is directing for Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow from a script penned by Joby Harold. The project is part of a planned 6-part franchise.
Bana is currently filming The Secret Scripture. Directed by Jim Sheridan, the drama follows a woman who keeps a diary of her extended stay at a mental hospital. He will next be seen in Disney’s The Finest Hours, which tells the story of a daring Coast Guard rescue attempt off the coast of Cape Cod after a pair of oil tankers are destroyed during a blizzard in 1952. Chris Pine and Ben Foster star.
