Dimension’s thriller INK AND BONE gets a two-fer in Evan Daugherty. The hot new scribe will be directing the project and re-writing the spec script by Zak Olkewicz. The story follows an editor who is dispatched to help a reclusive horror writer finish his latest book and she soon discovers he’s being held prisoner in his house by everything he’s ever written. This project marks Daugherty’s directorial debut.
Daugherty is relatively new to Hollywood but he’s already got an impressive list of credits to his name. Just in the last couple years he’s written “Snow White and the Huntsman,” “Killing Season” and “Divergent.” Even his upcoming projects are impressive – he’s penning the scripts for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and “G.I. Joe 3.”
Who knows where Daugherty’s been but it’s clear where he’s going.
