Ewan McGregor is in talks to star in the Michael Sucsy-directed drama DON’T MAKE ME GO. The film follows a single father with a fatal brain tumor who takes his teenage daughter on a road trip to find his mother who abandoned him.
The script was written by Vera Herbert and landed on the Young and Hungry List in 2013. Michael Litvak of Bold Films will produce alongside Donald De Line and Peter Saraf. Gary Michael Walters and Jon Oakes from Bold will serve as executive producers. The film is set to go on the Cannes Film Market.
McGregor recently starred in Jane Got a Gun and in Don Cheadle’s Miles Ahead. He can be seen next in the Last Days in the Desert and the thriller Our Kind of Traitor with Damian Lewis and Naomie Harris. He can also be seen as Lumiere in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.
