Lerman, who recently boarded the drama pic Sidney Hall, has been attached to the lead since April of 2015, playing the lead role of Becket, the antihero who chooses fortune over love and family. While no other casting announcements have been made at this point, sources say that producers are eyeing an Emilia Clarke-type for a major supporting female role who plays a love interest opposite Lerman’s character.
Wall has had a remarkable career as an editor, which includes two Academy Award wins with partner Kirk Baxter: the first in 2010 for The Social Network and the second in 2011 for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, both from director David Fincher.
