〉 Esola, who spent 13 years at WME, has landed at UTA
Sources close to The Tracking Board have informed us that, after leaving WME last week, powerhouse literary agent Mike Esola has joined UTA.
Esola has officially signed on as part of United Talent Agency’s motion picture literary department. When we reported on Esola’s exit last week, rumors as to where Esola might end up were flying after his departure from WME, as we heard that he was being approached by CAA as well. But it looks like UTA made the veteran agent the strongest offer, and now that he’s has found a new home, a play for his impressive roster of clients is sure to come next.
Esola reps a number of high-profile clients, including Brett Ratner, Peyton Reed (Ant-Man), David Robert Mitchell (It Follows), T.S. Nowlin (The Maze Runner), Tim Miller (Deadpool), and Launch Pad Alum Dylan Brod.
