〉 Hoffman’s script Running Money was the 2015 Launch Pad Pilot Competition Overall Winner
We’re thrilled to announce that Launch Pad Pilot Competition Finalist David Hoffman has signed with Paradigm! Hoffman’s pilot RUNNING MONEY has already generated a lot of heat behind it as a 2015 LPPC Finalist, and all the buzz led to a competitive signing process that ended with Paradigm on top. The up-and-coming writer has signed with film agents Adrian Garcia and David Boxerbaum and TV agents Ellie Schiff and Zac Simmons. Hoffman also signed with Tom Carter of Artillery Creative shortly after placing in the contest this fall.
Besides having a host of projects set up all over town, Paradigm has consistently seen its writers land on The Hit List, Black List, and Young & Hungry List for the past several years, and Hoffman is bound to find his way on to one of them in the near future. His Launch Pad drama pilot Running Money finished as the 2015 LPPC Overall Winner.
To add to his well-deserved streak of success, Hoffman’s feature spec The Great Debate was named a Semifinalist last weekend at the 2015 Austin Film Festival. It was also awarded the Enderby Entertainment Award, which recognizes low-budget feature scripts with an original concept and distinctive voice. Hoffman’s past scripts have already won numerous awards and accolades in various contests and festivals, and his budding career promises to be an exciting one to watch.
The Launch Pad Competition has now helped over 80 writers land representation in just two years!
