Two of the film’s remaining pivotal roles have yet to be cast: Queenie, Porpentina’s younger sister, and Jacob, a rival of Scamander’s. Rumors are that Alison Sudol is director David Yates’ choice for the role of Queenie, and that Josh Gad and Michael Cera are up for Jacob.
J.K. Rowling penned the adaptation of her own novel, with Yates directing. The pic is set to bow on Nov. 18, 2016.
Miller most recently starred opposite Billy Crudup in The Stanford Prison Experiment and will next appear in Universal’s comedy Trainwreck, which stars Amy Schumer and Bill Hader, bowing on July 17th. Miller will also appear in another Warner Bros. franchise, as scarlet speedster Barry Allen, aka The Flash. He’ll star as the hero in a solo outing slated to drop in 2018, but will first debut as the character in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
