Director Bryan Singer has been responsive to fans by sharing his surprise casting choices for X-Men: Apocalypse on social media outlets. He has now revealed a photo of Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler. The Let Me In star is another cast addition who was picked by Singer as a seemingly perfect choice. The look of the character is classic. The film takes place in the 80’s. The style in the photo is spot on.
There is not a doubt in my mind that Singer is going to deliver the classic 80’s X-Men that fans have been waiting for. Don’t forget that he salvaged a series that was going off the deep end with X-Men: Days Of Future Past. I’m excited to see what the re-imagined younger characters have in store. This is the perfect opportunity to deliver different versions of the characters to be true to the comics. So far, it has seemed like that is the mission with this project.
