Former “Wonder Woman” Lynda Carter Elected President On “Supergirl”



SUPERGIRL is adding another superhero alum to its roster. , who is known for playing Wonder Woman on the 1970s series, has been tapped to play the U.S. President on the drama series.

Carter will star opposite Melissa Benoist, who plays the titular Supergirl (a.k.a. Kara), on the second season of the superhero show which recently moved from CBS to the CW. Lois and Clark star Dean Cain and the original Supergirl actress Helen Slater have also joined the show and will play Kara’s adoptive parents.

This is not the first time Carter has appeared on a show based on the DC Comic Universe. In 2007, she appeared on the CW’s Smallville starring Tom Welling. Her previous credits also include Two and a Half Men and Law & Order.

She is repped by A.K. Management, Maverick Artists Agency, and Dorit Simone Management.
