True Blood’s Joe Manganiello, comedian Jim Gaffigan, Blue Bloods’ Bridget Moynahan, and Pitch Perfect’s Ben Platt have been cast in DRUNK PARENTS, starring Alec Baldwin and Salma Hayek.
Baldwin and Hayek play a couple who gets intoxicated the night after dropping their daughter off at college, leading to a bad decision, a kidnapping and a serious case of mistaken identity.
House Bunny helmer Fred Wolf is directing from a script he co-wrote with Peter Gaulke. Robert Ogden Barnum and Aaron L. Gilbert are producing. Bron Studios and Fortitude International co-produce, in association with CW Media Finance. Andy Pollack, David Friendly, Jason Cloth, and Fortitude’s Nadine de Barros serve as executive producers.
Fortitude International is handling foreign rights and will be selling the film at Berlin. CAA and UTA Independent Film Group are co-representing North American rights.
Manganiello is repped by CAA and Management 360. Gaffigan is repped by UTA and Brillstein Entertainment. Moynahan is repped by WME and Brillstein Entertainment and Platt is repped by CAA and One Entertainment.
