Gabourey Sidibe, Ian McShane, David Harewood and Johnny Vegas are all recent additions to the cast of GRIMSBY. They join Sacha Baron Cohen and Mark Strong in the comedy about a Black ops spy who is forced to go on the run with his inept brother. Sidibe has also been cast in Lee Daniel’s new series “Empire” alongside Terrence Howard.
McShane is the British actor known for playing Blackbeard in “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.” He has also appeared in “We Are Marshall,” “Snow White and the Huntsman,” and he also voiced Captain Hook in “Shrek the Third.”
Harewood is most well known for playing David Estes on “Homeland” but has also appeared in “Blood Diamond” as Captain Poison and will next appear in drama “Free in Deed” with Edwina Findley.
