The Daniel Adams-directed comedy AN L.A. MINUTE has tapped Gabriel Byrne and Kiersey Clemons for the lead roles. The film will be a satirical look at fame, success, the star-making machinery and the karma that attaches to all those who worship at the altar of celebrity.
Adams wrote the script with Larry “Ratso” Sloman. The pic is from Hyde Park International with Mike Flanders and Harris Tulchin set as producers. Clemons will also co-produce.
Clemons can currently be seen in the Netflix series Easy. Her recent film credits include the critically acclaimed Dope as well as the comedy Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. She recently signed on to star in the Warner Bros. comic book pic The Flash as well as The Only Living Boy in New York and the reboot of the ’90s classic Flatliners.
Byrne recently appeared in Louder Than Bombs opposite Isabelle Huppert. He also appeared in The 33 and Vampire Academy. He can be seen next in the thriller Lies We Tell.
