Michiel Huisman has been cast in the male lead role for 2:22. Huisman will play a man who is shaken by a strange pattern of events that repeat in exactly the same manner every day, ending at precisely 2:22 p.m. When he falls for a beautiful woman whose life is threatened by these repetitions, he’s forced to uncover the elusive truth behind the mystery.
Benjamin Walker had been previously cast in the role, but dropped out. Huisman will star opposite Teresa Palmer and Sam Reid.
Huisman can currently be seen in the oscar nominated drama Wild, opposite Reese Witherspoon. He’s typically known for his role on HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, but also appeared in World War Z and Black Book. He’ll next star in The Age of Adaline, The Invitation, and American Dream.
