Iain Glen has been added to the growing cast of Fox Searchlight’s MY COUSIN RACHEL. The Game of Thrones star joins Rachel Weisz, Sam Claflin, Holliday Grainger, and Russell Beale.
The dark romance is based on the classic Daphne Du Maurier novel and tells the story of a young orphan named Philip who suspects that his mysterious cousin Rachel is responsible for the death of their other cousin, Ambrose. Philip seeks revenge, but his feelings for his beautiful cousin begin to complicate the situation.
The film will be directed by Roger Michell, who also adapted the novel. Kevin Loader with Anita Overland are set to produce.
Glen will reprise his role as Jorah Mormont in the sixth season of the wildly popular HBO drama Game of Thrones. He also stars in the sci-fi series Cleverman. He recently appeared in Eye in the Sky starring Helen Mirren and has a role in the forthcoming Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
He is repped Independent Talent Group.
