The film tells the true story of MMA fighter “Lightning” Lee Murray, who in 2006 masterminded the world’s largest bank heist. The script is being penned by Kerry Williamson and is based off the 2008 book “Heist: The Inside Story of the World’s Biggest Robbery” by Howard Sounes and the Sports Illustrated article “Breaking The Bank” by L Jon Wertheim.
Evans is also looking to produce along with Aram Tertzakian, Nate Bolotin, Nick Spicer and Scott Franklin.
Evans burst on to the scene this year with the critically acclaimed Indonesian action-thriller “The Raid: Redemption”, which he helmed and penned. He is currently executive producing for the remake of the film.
