Gemma Arterton and Bill Nighy have joined the cast of the BBC Films World War II comedy THEIR FINEST HOUR AND A HALF. They join Lily James and Sam Claflin in the story following the comical misadventures of a British film crew trying to make a patriotic film to boost morale after the Blitz. The screenplay is written by Gabby Chiappe, and is based off of the same title by Lissa Evans.
Known for her role in the Bond film Quantum Of Solace, Arterton has starred in the action films Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time with Jake Gyllenhaal and Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters alongside of Jeremy Renner.
Nighy is best known for his role in the comedy Love Actually, and has starred in the Underworld series and the film About Time. He recently starred in The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
Arterton is repped by CAA.
