George Lopez is moving from FX to the North Pole, with a quick crash landing in Maui along the way. ALOHA SANTA has brought on the comedian to play Chris Cringle, Santa’s immature son, who has to take on the family business in this holiday comedy from Infinite Entertainment. Jonathan Yudis is directing a script that he co-wrote with Adam and Mike Davis. Mark Bakshi, Eric Gilliom, Dominique Telson will produce alongside Yudis with Jordan Rosner and Gato Scatena executive producing.
When Santa Claus passes away, he leaves his responsibilities to his immature son, Chris Cringle. Unfortunately, while testing out the sled, Chris crash lands in Hawaii and must figure out how to get back to the North Pole in time for Christmas.
Lopez starred in the series Saint George on FX last year along with a role in the successful Fox animated film, Rio, and its sequel. He is repped by UTA and 3 Arts Entertainment.
