joins Tom Wilkinson, David Oyelowo and Oprah in the Martin Luther King Jr. biopic . The project focuses particularly on the Selma, Alabama protests that mark the height of the civil rights movement. Ribisi will play Lee C. White, advisor to JFK and Wilkinson’s Lyndon B. Johnson.

Some of Ribisi’s most memorable roles include Danny in “The Other Sister,” Parker Selfridge in “Avatar” and Donny on “Ted.” (I particularly liked him as Phoebe’s little brother on “Friends.”) He also recently appeared in “A Million Ways to Die in the West” and the Fox comedy “Dads” with Seth Green. Ribisi’s upcoming projects include biopic “Papa” starring Sharon Stone, “A Many Splintered Thing” with Chris Evans, and the Melissa Leo helmed crime drama “I Fought the Law.”
