There are some casting changes happening for season 6 of SCANDAL. Glee alum Jessalyn Gilsig is replacing Joelle Carter as Jake Ballard’s (Scott Foley) wife when the show returns on ABC.
Details about Carter’s departure is due to her regular role on NBC’s Dick Wolf procedural Chicago Justice. No word on whether Gilsig will be a series regular or recurring guest on the upcoming season of Scandal.
Season 6 of the popular Shonda Rimes drama was held until midseason due to Kerry Washington’s pregnancy.
In addition to her role on Glee, Gilsig appeared on History Channel drama Vikings.
