With Owen Wilson, Ed Helps, Terry Bradshaw, and Ving Rhames starring in the upcoming comedy BASTARDS, the film already promises to be hilarious. Now in final negotiations, Glenn Close is set to join them.
Bastards tells the story of two siblings raised to believe their father deceased, but find this to be a lie when they discover their mother had been a party girl who slept with many powerful celebrities, so they embark on a road trip to find him. Close will star as their mother. Scripted by Justin Malem, the comedy will be produced by Montecito’s Ivan Reitman and Ali Bell and by Alcon’s Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove.
Glenn Close is a prolific actress who has been nominated for six Oscars. She has starred as Cruella de Vil in 101 Dalmatians, Nova Prime in the much loved Guardians of the Galaxy, and Claire Wellington in The Stepford Wives, as well as in numerous other roles, and she will bring a lot of dimension to this new role.
Close is repped by CAA.
