Focus Features has revived their Gramercy Pictures division. The label will produce action, horror and sci-fi films. The films currently announced under the label are Insidious: Chapter 3, Self/Less, Sinister 2, London Has Fallen, The Forest and Rachet & Clank. Notable projects released through the Gramercy label were Four Weddings and a Funeral, Dazed and Confused, The Usual Suspects, Fargo and The Big Lebowski.
Originally launched in 1992, the division has been owned by numerous companies, bouncing around from PolyGram and Universal, to PolyGram acquiring full ownership, which then sold the rights to USA Films, which would become Focus Features. There will reportedly be no additional staffing from Focus to conduct Gramercy.
